Carter's Beach, Nova Scotia, Canada
Always talk to the locals whenever you go somewhere, guaranteed you'll find something amazing. We were seconded to White Point, a place known primarily for its eponymous resort. But a few kilometres away, 'round a cove and down a dirt road, you'll come to Carter's Beach. And to step out onto its sands, you'll suddenly wonder if you aren't, in fact, in the Caribbean, and why are there conifers trees on beaches like this?
