Swissair Flight 111 Monument
Swissair Flight 111 crashed offshore from Peggy's Cove back in 1998, a few short years before I visited Peggy's Cove. The hamlet, along with nearby Bayswater, were primary points for recovery. The three slots in the left stone, aside from representing 111, allow those who look through them to see the crash site some eight miles distant.
