Tang Dynasty Huaqing Palace
About 20 kilometres east of Xi'an's walled city is this haven in the mountains, where the Tang Dynasty held their court-away-from-the-capital. Little did they know -- for everyone had forgotten -- that the grave of the First Emperor wasn't far away, along with his terracotta army.
