Pictou Train Station
The Intercolonial Railway once served Pictou through this station, the end of a spur line from Tatamagouche. It was a major port city on the north side of the province until the 1970s. Passenger traffic disappeared when Canadian National relinquished its services to VIA Rail; CN pulled the tracks in the 1980s.
