Road to the mountains
Alex and I decided to see the Santa Claus parade in Banff. For other reasons, we ended up taking Hwy 1A instead of the Trans Canada, which offers a different perspective on our usual way into the mountains. Out here, wedged between First Nations and Crown lands, there's an empty peacefulness.
