An American Mink in the Wild

An American Mink in the Wild

Whilst crawling about Rolley Creek, we spied four mink racing their way downstream. This little guy was a lot more timid than his family, and his hestitation allowed for a less blurry image. The mink (Neogale vison) is native to the area, though it's believed quite a few are a result of escapees from former mink farms that were also in the area.
