Mile 31 on the CP Langdon Subdivision

Mile 31 on the CP Langdon Subdivision
The CP Langdon subdivision ran from its eponymous start just east of Calgary to East Coulee, about 30 km downriver from Drumheller, supporting coal mining and agriculture. But as the coal waned in the 1950s, so did the line's profitability and Canadian Pacific started abandoning it. By 1991, all that remained of it in Beiseker is a rail trail.
