CPKC Holiday Train at Gap

Gap is so named for the land bridge Canadian Pacific had to build to cross the lake formed by the Bow River, thus forming Gap Lake. The Lafarge Cement plant is easily visible in the background, with the red lights on the Trans Canada just above the bright lights of the CPKC Holiday Train as it streaks past. Some people are out on the lake to get a closer look.
