CN freight train crosses the Fraser River at Mission
From Mission to Ashcroft, along the Fraser River, CN and CPKC have an agreement -- CP tracks are for eastbound trains, CN tracks are for westbound trains; they cross to/from their respective tracks at Mission, usually crossing north from CN to CPKC. This train is a CN, heading east. Until the late 1970s, the bridge was combined rail and road, until a separate bridge for Highway 11 was built (barely visible behind the rail bridge).
