The Margerie Glacier
Just to the west of the Grand Pacific Glacier is the more classic light blue Margerie Glacier, which zig-zags down from Mount Quincy Adams. The dark material is moraine that's been scraped off the valley walls, settling on top of the glacier. We saw a bit of it calve off (no photo, sadly). It's debris melts fairly quickly, despite the cold waters.
