Goliath

This is Goliath, one of the two massive cranes (the other called Samson is visible further away) which were used to build ships at Harland & Wolff's yard in Belfast. It's difficult to really get a sense of size from this picture, so look at the railing atop the massive horizontal span. A human would be a mere spec atop one of these. Today, they're used sparingly and are listed as national monuments.
