Remains of the Cayuga Subdivision

The CN Cayuga Subdivision is the former Grand Trunk Canada Air Line (not Air Canada, let's be clear), which was a competitor to the Canada Southern (CASO) Line. The CAL ran from Fort Erie to Windsor. When the Grand Trunk was taken into Canadian National, CN ran the line. But with the decline of railways, the CAL suffered the same fate of the CASO: drop in traffic, loss of interest, and large-scale abandonment. The Cayuga itself has mostly vanished, too, demoting it to a Spur rather than a Subdivision. Today, it runs barely west of St. Thomas only to just east of Tilsonburg.
